The equipment list for a PBX solution is based on the solution design, which may include user handsets, network switches, and trunk gateways. The service is usually handed off to the customer on a Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) switch provided by Digicel or via use of the customer’s existing infrastructure. In some instances, network ports are shared for Data and Voice services from the CPE, the phones are connected via the LAN ports, and the PCs are connected to the phone’s PC ports. Analogue gateways may be required if the customer wishes to integrate their existing analog lines.
